Joe Biden: “my message to unvaccinated Americans is this: What more is there to wait for? What more
do you need to see? We’ve made vaccinations free, safe, and convenient. BUTT TO We’ve been
patient, but our patience is wearing thin. And your refusal has cost all of us.”
Annie Andersen : That was the message from President Biden as he announced 6 new vaccination guidelines and
requirements.
Some of Biden’s announcement was expected… but there was one part that took many people by
surprise.
Joe Biden: ”I’m announcing that the Department of Labor is developing an emergency rule to require all
employers with 100 or more employees, that together employ over 80 million workers, to ensure
their workforces are fully vaccinated or show a negative test at least once a week.”
Annie Andersen: The reaction on this has been polarizing- there is no middle ground here.
People are either all in or completely out.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott tweeted: Biden’s vaccine mandate is an assault on private businesses.
Virginia Senator Mark Warner, going the other way, tweeting: I’m glad to know that the President is
using every tool at his disposal to boost vaccination rates and save lives.
It isn’t just politicos weighing in, filmmaker Errol Webber compared Biden to a tyrant, tweeting, “The
Biden Regime is now instituting an unconstitutional vaccine mandate, strong-arming private businesses,
affecting some 80 million Americans.
Progressive filmmaker Michael Moore tweeted, Mandatory vaccinations! YES! The unvaccinated are
killing us. BRAVO, Mr. President!
Influencer Big Nik took to twitter after the president’s announcement, tweeting: Dictator Biden literally
threatening the people of the United States.
But what about the business world, as they will be the ones impacted directly by the new rule?
Business Roundtable, a group of American CEOs including Chevron, Caterpillar and Citigroup issued a
statement saying in part, America’s business leaders know how critical vaccination and testing
are in defeating the pandemic.
On the other hand, the Federal Law Enforcement Officers association issued a statement saying ““This
executive order villainizes employees for reasonable concerns and hesitancies
