“We’re not going to tolerate it anymore. This is not a game,” Homan said while appearing on Fox News Thursday, Feb. 6. “When we show up at these sites, this is a dangerous job for the men and women of ICE and Border Patrol and all the [Department of Justice] agencies.”

Homan added, “To have that type of interference puts our officers at great risk. Not only the officers, it puts the aliens at great risk because anything can happen when we take our eyes off the goal here, so we’re addressing it immediately today.”

While Homan said he is not blaming the media for the leak, he indicated that media ride-alongs with ICE agents could end moving forward.

“I tried to be transparent. I promised the American people I’m going to be transparent with the operations, but it’s obvious we can’t be having all these different news outlets out there with us on various raids,” Homan said.

The leak, which occurred last week, resulted in federal agents going door-to-door at infamous apartment complexes known for alleged Tren de Aragua (TDA) gang activity. As a result, “federal agents were met largely with many empty buildings,” according to Fox News.

ICE agents visited Aurora, Denver, Thornton and Arapahoe counties on Wednesday, Feb. 5. Enforcement and Removal Operations Denver posted on X that more than 100 members of Tren de Aragua were targeted in the Aurora raid.

According to Fox News, only about 30 people were arrested, and only one of them was a TDA member. Despite the setback, Homan said the leak will not slow down ICE’s efforts to arrest criminal migrants living in the U.S. illegally and carry out President Donald Trump’s plan of mass deportations.
