OFFICIALS SAY THE DRIVER, IDENTIFIED AS A 24-YEAR-OLD AFGHAN ASYLUM-SEEKER, ACCELERATED INTO A GROUP OF PEDESTRIANS NEAR A POLICE BARRICADE. A UNION DEMONSTRATION WAS HAPPENING NEARBY, BUT IT’S UNCLEAR IF IT WAS TARGETED.
