Dozens of shots fired at Floyd memorial, one injured


One person was injured when dozens of shots were fired at the site of the George Floyd memorial in Minneapolis Tuesday morning.

The shooting comes on the one-year anniversary of Floyd’s death.

An Associated Press reporter who was at the site at the time of the shooting said he heard up to 30 shots fired.

No details on a possible suspect were immediately released.

THE REPORTER BEGAN TWEETING ABOUT THE INCIDENT JUST AFTER 10 THIS MORNING.
HE SAYS HE HEARD UP TO 30 SHOTS FIRED,
AND ONE PERSON IS IN THE HOSPITAL IN CRITICAL CONDITION. THAT PERSON IS EXPECTED TO SURVIVE.
