The last time former President Donald Trump teased a big announcement, he kicked off his latest bid for the U.S. presidency. The former president teased another major announcement this week, but it wasn’t to name a running mate or announce a platform for his campaign.

In a video link posted to Truth Social, the social media platformed owned by Trump, the former president and current Republican front-runner launched his inaugural NFT campaign.

In the video, Trump explained all a person needs to buy an NFT from him is $99 and an email account. As part of the launch, Trump is also holding a sweepstakes, where customers can enter to win a number of prizes including a one-on-one Zoom call with the Republican presidential candidate, or maybe even a dinner.

The NFTs can be purchased at CollectTrumpCards.com. The site launched roughly a month after Trump declared his candidacy to represent Republicans in 2024. Now that he’s formally running, the Republican National Committee is no longer covering Trump’s legal expenses for many of his ongoing court cases.

While Trump adds to his list of firsts, becoming the first U.S. presidential candidate to have an official NFT campaign, his presumptive challenger in the Republican party, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, called for the formation of a grand jury to look into COVID-19 vaccines and their rollout in Florida.

Trump endorsed DeSantis in 2018, but has since soured on the governor. According to Politico, DeSantis leads the former president in three different polls, even though he has yet to officially announce a 2024 presidential run.
