TAYLOR KNIGHT:
APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS.
BUT JUNE APPARENTLY BRINGS SOME POISONOUS WEEDS.
GAILON, OHIO, IS BLOOMING WITH POISON HEMLOCKS MORE SO THAN PREVIOUS YEARS.
THE PLANT IS GROWING NEAR WILDLIFE, WATER AND FLOOD PLAINS.
PENNSYLVANIA EVEN HAS A FEW WEEDS TOO.
SO WHY DOES THIS MATTER?
WELL POISON HEMLOCKS ARE THE MOST DANGEROUS PLANTS IN THE US.
THEY HAVE HIGH TOXINS THAT CAUSE RESPIRATORY FAILURE AND DEATH.
THE PLANTS DEFINITELY SHOULD NOT BE EATEN.
IF YOU PLAN TO HACK IT… BE CAREFUL BECAUSE THAT COULD LEAD TO BLISTERS IF YOU DON’T TAKE THE RIGHT PRECAUTIONS.
YIKES!
HAVE YOU SEEN A HEMLOCK IN YOUR YARD?
LET US KNOW IN THE COMMENTS BELOW.
