• A debt ceiling agreement! Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announced that Democrats have accepted a debt ceiling deal to extend the government’s borrowing authority into December.
• Former NBA players have been charged with defrauding the league. According to a grand jury indictment, at least 18 ex-NBA players are facing charges of health insurance fraud after submitting fake reimbursement claims for medical and dental procedures that never happened.
• Microsoft has released its second annual Digital Defense Report, which examines hacking reports on a global scale. According to the report, Russian-based organizations were responsible for 58 percent of hacks.
