26 states have blocked Title IX, nearly 700 schools won’t comply

Twenty-six states have blocked Title IX revisions from the Biden-Harris administration. Those states’ decisions, and another lawsuit recently upheld by the Supreme Court, affected nearly 700 schools across 48 states.
The injunction also prevents enforcement of new gender-affirming rules that redefine sexual discrimination to include sexual orientation.
The U.S. supreme Court upheld a Kansas judge’s ruling that the new rules cannot go into effect at any school with students who are a part of Moms for Liberty, the Young Americas Foundation or Female Athletes United. Students in those groups attend 700 schools across 48 states.
