Black leaders unveil Project 2025 counteroffer

A group of prominent Black Democrat leaders from Project FREEDOM revealed a 922-page alternative to Project 2025, a plan led by a conservative think tank and endorsed by many Republicans.

The plan from Project FREEDOM is to target Black voters using town halls and digital campaigns in swing areas. That includes Michigan, North Carolina, Las Vegas and Pennsylvania — specifically the Tri-State area.

Project FREEDOM’s idea is to provide a viable policy for Democrats. It contrasts sharply with Project 2025, and is based on four pillars: freedom to live, learn, vote and thrive.
