Comedian of Trump rally fame gets Netflix deal

Tony Hinchcliffe has secured a Netflix deal for a solo stand-up special and three specials based on his YouTube series, “Kill Tony.” The first special will be filmed at The Comedy Mothership in Austin, Texas, and will premiere on April 7.

Hinchcliffe faced bipartisan criticism for his offensive jokes made during a rally for President Donald Trump, which the Trump campaign later distanced itself from.

Despite the backlash, Hinchcliffe stated he would “apologize to absolutely nobody” while expressing excitement about the creative freedom offered by Netflix.
