J.D. Vance is less popular than Sarah Palin

Ohio Senator J.D. Vance is now the most unpopular vice presidential nominee in modern history, surpassing Sarah Palin’s unfavorability ratings during the 2008 campaign. At the end of the campaign, Palin had a net favorability rating of -2.
Vance’s net favorability dropped from -3 points to -9.3 points since July, according to FiveThirtyEight. As of August, 42.4% of voters viewed Vance poorly, a rise from 28.9% in July, linked to his recent controversial remarks. The number go back through the last 20 years worth of polling.
