According to Lara Trump, co-chair of the Republican National Committee and Eric Trump’s wife, the “deep state” has been responsible for several issues that former President Donald Trump has faced. One event she includes is the technical difficulties Donald Trump and Elon Musk had in their conversation on X on Monday, Aug. 12.

According to Lara Trump, there is a “massive effort” that currently exists that aims to stop Donald Trump from winning the 2024 presidential election.

Lara Trump said groups like the deep state are “terrified” of Donald Trump potentially returning to power.
