More than 100 intelligence staffers to be fired for sending sexually explicit texts in NSA chatrooms, Gabbard says

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has directed the termination and revocation of security clearances for over 100 intelligence officers involved in explicit chat messages on the NSA’s Intelink platform. The NSA is investigating employees for allegedly misusing the messaging board to discuss personal sexual topics under the guise of diversity and inclusion.

Gabbard stated that the employees’ actions violate trust and professionalism within the intelligence community.

The NSA is actively investigating the misuse of its messaging platform. It was reportedly used for improper discussions under the guise of diversity policies.

DNI spokesperson Alexa Henning confirmed that intelligence agencies are to identify and terminate employees participating in these conversations by Friday.
