Newly arrived migrants encounter hazards of food delivery on the streets of NYC: robbers

A migrant almost had his e-bike stolen for the second time in under a month while working delivering food in New York. Luckily, he was rescued after a nearby motorist revved his engines, causing the assailants to scatter. This is something many migrants are facing as an abundance of asylum-seekers have started seeking out jobs in food-delivery due to a large amount of customers in big cities.

Working in food delivery in large cities brings several hazards, the main one being thieves who target delivery vehicles, particularly bikes.
