RFK Jr. slams Trump verdict: ‘Profoundly undemocratic’

Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is criticizing the guilty verdict in former President Donald Trump’s hush-money New York trial, calling the decision “profoundly undemocratic.” Kennedy criticized the Democratic Party’s strategy of battling former President Trump in court over the 2024 presidential ballot.

Trump and other Republicans also condemned this approach, citing threats to the government’s separation of powers. Some right-leaning sources say that Democrats’ fear of losing at the polls leads them to target the former president through legal means.
