Sen. Johnson issues subpoena for Fauci’s emails about vaccine safety and other documents

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., issued a subpoena to the Department of Health and Human Services for COVID-19 safety data and Dr. Anthony Fauci’s emails, claiming transparency is needed. The subpoena is part of a long effort to obtain unredacted records about the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccine safety.
Johnson stated that previous requests for information from the Biden administration were ignored or insufficiently addressed. The subpoena demands a response by Feb. 18, 2025, as Johnson seeks accountability from health agencies.
