Vance says Trump administration is ‘not just restoring, but expanding’ religious freedom for America

Vice President JD Vance emphasized the Trump administration’s commitment to expanding religious freedom during his speech at the International Religious Freedom Summit on Feb. 5. Vance criticized previous government actions that he claimed persecuted religious individuals and vowed to end funding that supports anti-religious NGOs abroad.

He praised Secretary of State Marco Rubio for his dedication to religious liberty and highlighted his efforts to combat religious persecution globally.
