Biden’s failed legacy leaves next generation without hope

As President Biden bids farewell as the 46th commander in chief, his legacy is under scrutiny. Many on the Right view him as a long-time politician who veered too far Left, struggled with immigration and inflation, and delivered a “below-average” presidency. Most Democrats rate him at or above average, however, saying that he leaves behind a soaring economy as his legacy that the Trump team will now inherit. Sixteen percent of Democrats, on the other hand, gave a negative rating of Biden’s presidency.

Watch the video above as Straight Arrow News contributor Star Parker analyzes Biden’s farewell speech, calling it a “disaster” and arguing that his legacy offers no hope for the next generation.

The following is an excerpt from the above video:

No purpose. No clarity of individual uniqueness for a nine-year-old — to desire to live free in a free country and aspire to leave a beautiful mark on the world. Nothing was there.

Biden’s legacy is to promote abortion. Abortion is not a reproductive right. Abortion is a crime against humanity, and we should not be doing it. We should not be embracing it. And progressives have tried to sell this idea that abortion is a good idea, and yet it steals legacy. It steals hope, it steals future. It is painful to family. And yet Biden promotes abortion.

President Biden’s legacy is to fight against educational freedom. Why shouldn’t parents be able to choose a school for their children? What is it that they just want such control, those progressives, over other people’s children’s lives and what they know and what they learn and what they can do, that they would stand in the school door and make sure that parents protect us?

Biden’s goodbye speech was a disaster. Nothing in it for nine year old Biden. Speech was empty as progressivism itself. Nothing in it for nine year old. No hope.

It is painful to family. And yet Biden promotes abortion. President Biden’s legacy is to fight against educational freedom. Why shouldn’t parents be able to choose a school for their children? What is it that they just want such control those progressives over other people’s children’s lives and what they know and what they learn and what they can do. That they would stand in the school door and make sure that parents Protect us. Biden had the nerve to mention a Statue of Liberty, which embodies Ellis Island, where when people came from all parts of the world to come to America, to make America.

They signed in and swore in to be one people, one nation. Are you kidding? The Biden administration opened the southern borders for America to be overrun by some really bad actors from all around the world. Well, thank God America’s voters last November rejected Biden, and his progressivism and progressivism is being rejected all over the world, including in California.

Thank God, that is. President Trump is sworn back into the white House as the 47th president of the United States of America. We’re in a new season, a new, opportune day to set our country on a new course toward its founding principles of faith, a freedom, a personal responsibility which will lead us all to more freedom and flexibility, more prosperity and purpose, and will lead to more zeal for nine year old to dream about a bright future for themselves, for their family, for their communities, and for their country.

You know, a 1995 United Press International reported from the hospital bed of former baseball’s superstar Mickey Mantle. The article said in quotes, his face drawn and his body weakened from the effects of a liver transplant that saved his life. He said he wanted to tell children, don’t be like me. In quotes from Mickey Mantle. All you have to do is look at me and see where my life was wasted.

Mantle said during his first appearance since the surgery. I wanted to get across to kids, not to drink or do drugs. Mom and dad should be the role models. That’s what I think. I was given so much and I blew it. End quote from one of our greatest baseball superheroes. Well, goodbye, Mr. Biden. After 50 years of you in public service, you as I fear mongering, environment worshiping, abortion loving, progressive who wanted absolute control over everything and everyone.

One lesson I think every nine year old should glean from your self-righteous example is to not be like you.
