President Trump should reverse Biden’s abuses and protect human life. Says Smith, he believes the Biden administration’s denial of such abuses in quotes have rung hollow in the face of their aggressive promotion of abortion and collaboration with some of the largest international abortion providers. End Quote from Congressman Smith, President Trump can reverse the abuses of Biden administration, and he can restore important policies that were in place during his term, he can reinstate the Mexico City Policy, for instance, so the taxpayer money is no longer providing funds to organizations that perform or promote abortion. And there are a lot of countries that want that in place so they can protect their interests, not be pushed by the former White House to provide abortion or get involved in abortion. They don’t want it pursuant to President Trump’s direction, the Department of Health and Human Services should do everything possible to protect human life. They should prevent taxpayer funds from going to abortion providers. They should support life affirming work of the pregnancy care centers, and they should protect the conscious rights of doctors and nurses who do not want to be involved with abortion. President Trump and his appointees should ensure that abortions are not performed in the Department of Defense, nor in veterans any of their health care facilities, and that federal health care programs do not support or promote abortion.

Donald Trump campaigned on leaving abortion laws for individual states to decide for themselves, but critics say that will be a tough position for him to maintain while president as he faces Republican pressures to enact stricter federal anti-abortion policies. President Trump’s Department of Health and Human Services has taken down the federal government website ReproductiveRights.gov, and on Jan. 23 the returning president pardoned 23 anti-abortion activists. One of former President Biden’s final acts, in contrast, was to issue his opinion that the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) is now federal law, which advocates say they hope will help advance a pro-choice agenda even with Biden out of office.

Our Declaration of Independence says: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” We all know this.
Well, fittingly, the first of these rights is a right to life. Without it, we cannot enjoy any of the other rights that are endowed by our creator and affirmed in our Constitution.
