Shianne DeLeon

Shianne is a video editor at Straight Arrow News. Originally from Palm Springs, California, she cherishes her role as a big sister to her nine younger siblings. When she’s not editing videos, Shianne can usually be found at concerts with friends or relaxing at home with her two cats. She also loves traveling to different music festivals around the country and camping out with friends.

Shianne’s curiosity for production and behind-the-scenes work began in childhood. In high school, she discovered her passion for editing while working on a year-end video project. This experience ignited her love for evoking emotions through video.

Shianne pursued her passion at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she joined the campus television studio. The first newscast she participated in confirmed her career path, opening her eyes to various opportunities such as hosting a radio show, producing podcasts, directing newscasts, videography, anchoring, and, of course, more editing.
