“They discovered a small number of documents of classified markings in storage areas and file cabinets in my home and my in my, my, my personal library.”
That was President Biden commenting on the latest revelations regarding classified documents found from Biden’s time as vice president.
Here’s the timeline.
Earlier this week — an attorney for Biden said lawyers for the president found a small number of documents with classified markings at one of his former offices.
Yesterday, Biden’s legal team reportedly found more documents in a second location.
This morning — the New York Times reported that second location was a storage space in his home in Wilmington, Delaware.
Biden says he is cooperating fully with the Justice Department on their investigation into the documents.
“I take classified documents and classified materials seriously. The Department of Justice was immediately notified and the lawyers arranged for the Department of Justice to take possession of the document. So you’re going to see, we’re going to see all of this unfold I’m confident.”
Attorney General Merrick Garland has a news conference set up for this afternoon and this investigation may come up.
Our Ray Bogan will be monitoring that and you can catch his report on StraightArrowNews.com.
