What are these schools accused of doing?
Since Hamas attacked Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, which led to the war in Gaza, antisemitism incidents skyrocketed in the U.S. Many of those incidents were reported on college campuses.
Republican lawmakers launched a year-long investigation into the incidents and have had multiple hearings. The investigation led to the resignations of at least two university presidents. That includes Harvard President Claudine Gay.
In July, Harvard University also agreed to settle two lawsuits that accused the Ivy League school of not doing enough to protect Jewish students.
