Finland PM Sanna Marin takes drug test after partying video goes viral

A video of Finland’s youngest Prime Minister Sanna Marin partying with friends has gone viral. Marin has since taken a drug test to clear any speculation she was under the influence of narcotics.

Marin said she only had alcohol at the party and announced she took a drug test and results are expected next week, according to BBC News.

The partying headlines come at an inconvenient time. Finland is currently attempting to join the NATO alliance and Thursday the country reported that two Russian jets are suspected of violating its airspace.

This is not the first time the 34-year-old leader made headlines for partying too hard.

In December, Marin was documented partying past 4:00 a.m. without her work phone. Marin’s security team was attempting to contact her to inform her she had been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
