Why does Netanyahu say Trump is Israel’s “greatest friend“?
Speaking with host Mark Levin on “Life, Liberty & Levin,” Netanyahu credited Trump with strengthening U.S.-Israel relations to “beyond anything we’ve seen up to now.” He called the former president “a great leader for America and the world” and emphasized that Israel has “no greater friend than America, especially under President Trump’s leadership.”

Netanyahu also dismissed negative pre-election polling that showed Trump trailing in popularity. “That’s exactly what you have in the fake polls in Israel,” he said.
What is Trump’s proposal for Gaza and why does Netanyahu support it?
Trump, speaking at the White House on Tuesday, Feb. 4, proposed permanently resettling displaced Palestinians outside Gaza and suggested the U.S. should take “ownership” of the territory.
Netanyahu strongly supported the plan. He called it “the first fresh idea in years” and stating it had “the potential to change everything in Gaza.” He criticized past diplomatic efforts as “same old, same old” and argued that a new approach was necessary.
How does Netanyahu plan to handle Hamas?
Netanyahu reiterated that his government’s goal is to “destroy Hamas.” He claimed there is “wide agreement” on Capitol Hill for this approach, including from both Republicans and Democrats.
