Rep. Cori Bush (R-MO) blasted Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) Monday following his news conference on Biden’s infrastructure package. Manchin and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) continue to hold out on this crucial piece of legislation and further divide the Democratic party.

“Simply put, I will not support a bill that is this consequential without thoroughly understanding the impact it will have on our national debt, our economy, and most importantly, our American people,” Manchin said.

In response to Manchin, Bush tweeted out the following statement.

“Joe Manchin’s opposition to the Build Back Better Act is anti-Black, anti-child, anti-woman, and anti-immigrant,” Bush said. When we talk about transformative change, we are talking about a bill that will benefit Black, brown, and Indigenous communities…”

THINGS CONTINUE TO HEAT UP IN THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY OVER PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN’S BUILD-BACK AMERICA AGENDA.

RECENTLY, I PUBLISHED A JUST ONE NAME REPORT ON CONGRESSWOMAN CORI BUSH OF MISSOURI, A FRESHMAN MEMBER OF THE PROGRESSIVE CAUCUS WHO’S ALREADY MAKING WAVES ON CAPITOL HILL. AND THIS WEEK BUSH IS BACK IN THE NEWS.

THIS TIME FOR BLASTING SENATOR JOE MANCHIN OF WEST VIRGINIA. MANCHIN, ALONG WITH ARIZONA SENATOR KYRSTEN SINEMA, HAVE BEEN LONG HOLDOUTS, STOPPING THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION FROM PUSHING THROUGH THE INFRASTRUCTURE PACKAGE.

JOE MANCHIN: “Simply put, I will not support a bill that is this consequential without thoroughly understanding the impact it will have on our national debt, our economy, and most importantly, our American people.“

IN RESPONSE TO MANCHIN’S COMMENTS, BUSH TWEETED OUT THIS STATEMENT.

SHE SAYS IN PART, “Joe Manchin’s opposition to the Build Back Better Act is anti-Black, anti-child, anti-woman, and anti-immigrant. When we talk about transformative change, we are talking about a bill that will benefit Black, brown and Indigenous communities…”
