The First Lady is set to lead US delegation at Tokyo Olympics

First Lady Jill Biden will lead the U.S. delegation in the upcoming Tokyo Olympic Games. This is not the first time the First Lady has attended the Olympics. At the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, she led the U.S. delegation as Second Lady.

TAYLOR KNIGHT:

FLOTUS THE TREND SETTER  IS NOW A JET SETTER.

FIRST LADY JILL BIDEN IS HEADED TO TOKYO TO ATTEND THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE SUMMER OLYMPIC GAMES.

SHE WILL LEAD THE US DELEGATION DESPITE THE CITY BEING UNDER A NEW STATE OF EMERGENCY OVER A RISE IN CORONAVIRUS CASES.

THIS IS DR. BIDEN’S SECOND OLYMPIC TRIP.

SHE WENT TO THE 2010 OLYMPIC GAMES WITH HER HUSBAND WHEN SHE WAS THE SECOND LADY.

THIS TIME THE PRESIDENT WILL NOT BE GOING WITH HER, NOT UNUSUAL. GEORGE W BUSH WAS THE LAST SITTING PRESIDENT TO ATTEND THE OLYMPICS.

IT WON’T BE THE SAME AS PREVIOUS OLYMPIC GAMES BECAUSE THIS ONE WON’T HAVE ANY FANS IN THE STANDS.

BUT TEAM USA WILL HAVE THE FIRST LADY TO CHEER THEM ON IN PERSON.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE FLOTUS HEADING TO THE TOKYO GAMES?
