Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey treated for dehydration at campaign rally

Alabama Governor Kay Ivey, 80, was treated by paramedics after becoming unsteady at a campaign rally for congressional candidate Caroleene Dobson. Ivey’s office stated she was dehydrated and received fluids, feeling better after on-site evaluation. The governor, a cancer survivor, has endorsed Dobson in the 2nd Congressional District race. Ivey is recovering at home after the Sunday evening incident ¹.
