Ben Carson says he won’t be surgeon general, is meeting with Trump soon to discuss future

Ben Carson has denied rumors that he will be the nominee for Surgeon General in an X post on Sunday. Carson expressed enthusiasm about discussing the America First agenda with President Trump soon.
He congratulated Donald Trump after his victory in the Nov. 5 election, calling him a “good friend.” Carson was a major surrogate of Trump during the campaign and gave a speech at the Republican National Convention praising Trump after the assassination attempt in July.
