Cities seek more than $750K in unpaid bills for Trump campaign events since 2016

Four cities and a county are waiting for the Trump campaign to pay over $750,000 in unpaid bills for police protection and first responders at rallies, as confirmed to NBC News. Some bills date back eight years, but it is unclear who is legally responsible for the payments.
A Trump campaign official directed questions about costs to the Secret Service, stating no formal agreements existed regarding reimbursements. Just one of the cities, Erie, Pennsylvania, says that the Trump campaign owes more than $40,000 in costs.
