Few US adults confident Justice Department and FBI will act fairly under Trump, AP-NORC poll finds

Both Republicans and Democrats say that they have little or no confidence in the Justice Department, FBI and Supreme Court with an incoming Trump administration just days away. Democrats are the most pessimistic on the Supreme Court, with 75% of respondents saying that they had no confidence. Republicans were a bit more optimistic, with 42% saying they were confident in the institution, and 41% said they were “somewhat” confident. As for the FBI and DOJ, confidence was low for all groups.
Michelle Obama will not attend Trump’s inauguration, and President Biden will give a farewell address the night of Jan. 15.
