Gaetz sent more than $10k to two women who testified in House investigation: Reports

Matt Gaetz allegedly paid over $10,000 to witnesses in a House probe, with one receiving over $6,000 and the other over $4,000, according to records cited by Leppard. Investigators inquired about records showing payments transferred electronically to the witnesses, as reported by Leppard.
Federal prosecutors did not charge Gaetz, which a spokesperson emphasized in the context of ongoing accusations against him. Rolling Stone reported that the payments were between $100 and $700, with subject lines like “Love You,” “Gift,” “Tickets,” “flight + xtra 4 u” and “being my friend.”
