Harris tells computer chip workers in Michigan they are a ‘source of my optimism’ about the US

Kamala Harris stated that computer chip workers are “a source of my optimism” and emphasized their skilled work. The new facility is expected to create 180 factory jobs in Michigan, as mentioned by Harris.

The CHIPS and Science Act has provided $30 billion for projects, adding 115,000 jobs nationwide, according to the Commerce Department.

The CHIPS Act has enabled the United States to produce 30% of the world’s most advanced computer chips.
