Joe Rogan warned that the “right wind” could cause a wildfire to burn through Los Angeles to the ocean, as he stated in resurfaced clips from his show. On Jan. 8, 2025, wildfires in Los Angeles forced roughly 100,000 residents to evacuate, resulting in at least five deaths and the destruction of thousands of structures.
Rogan recounted that he had been evacuated three times due to wildfires and described the experience as “f–king scary.”
He reiterated that a firefighter had warned him about the unpredictability of wildfires in Los Angeles, saying, “When those big fires get going, there’s not a damn thing we can do.”
