Musk sending Starlink terminals to storm-ravaged North Carolina

Elon Musk said his companies will provide free internet via Starlink for Hurricane Helene victims in North Carolina and other affected states.
Musk announced a system update for Starlink to function without payment in disaster areas. He expected that update to be finished and take effect soon.
Former President Donald Trump allegedly notified Musk about the additional need for Starlink in North Carolina, which prompted immediate terminal shipments. Many components of key infrastructure, including internet and telephone lines, were knocked out during the storm across the South.
