Philadelphia Election Official Tells Non-Citizens They Can Vote

An investigative report from the O’Keefe Media Group revealed that a Philadelphia election worker claimed non-citizens can vote if they are city residents. Milton Jamerson, an Election Clerk, stated that residency is sufficient for voting eligibility in local elections.

The claim raises concerns as possessing an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number does not grant legal voting rights in the U.S.

The undercover reporter asked the organization’s representative if people could vote even if they’re not a resident or a citizen and the representative responded, “yes.”
