A pro-Trump influencer admitted that a foreign agent of Russia paid him to post misleading election information on social media. Simeon Boikov paid $100 for about 10 posts that included voter fraud claims and memes.

U.S. Officials warned that Russia is working to undermine confidence in the elections by creating false narratives.

Officials said Russia’s disinformation network are producing staged propaganda videos that are later promoted by American social media influencers.
