Trump readying close to 100 executive orders, Republican senator says

President-Elect Donald Trump plans to issue around 100 executive orders immediately upon taking office, according to Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla. Trump reportedly made the statement during a two-hour meeting with Republican senators at the Capitol on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
Trump aims to focus on border security and energy independence, including reversing his predecessor, President Joe Biden’s restrictions on energy production.
Sen. Mullin stated that executive orders can be undone by future administrations, emphasizing the need for congressional action. Trump’s priorities include reinstating Title 42 and building the border wall, as reported by Axios.
