Witness tells House Ethics Committee that Matt Gaetz paid her for sex: Sources

A witness informed the House Ethics Committee that Rep. Matt Gaetz paid her for sex. According to an ABC News report, House Ethics Committee investigators have interviewed women involved in the Justice Department’s sex trafficking probe of Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla. The committee’s probe into Gaetz includes speaking with several women about allegations of sexual misconduct and drug use, one claiming to have been paid for sex. ABC News reported that the committee spoke with at least six women connected to Gaetz through the Justice Department investigation. In 2023, the Justice Department announced it would not bring charges against Gaetz.
