Okay, let’s talk about the silliness that continues to happen with our political conversation. So recently on Fox News, you know, the Morning Show, one of the individuals gets into an argument about Biden being impeached, and he just says something very simple, Biden, there is no evidence to support a Biden impeachment. Now, this is obviously contrary to the protocol of conservative rhetoric that comes out of Fox. And it takes a step into the arena of common sense, rather than the arena of significant hardcore partisanship. And there, that started an argument, just that comment.
What evidence is there to support a Biden impeachment anyway? None.
The impeachment is a bigger story than any issue that may lead to an impeachment at all. This is simply revenge on Trump being impeached, rightfully so, twice before leaving office, etc. Impeachment is in fact a political process, but a constitutional dynamic. It is rooted in one thing, in order to hold a president accountable who has committed crimes while in office. It is an apparatus to be utilized in the most extreme circumstances, and not simply for a political conversation.
But if you look at this fairly and properly, Biden is being used in a political way because of the current politics. Most Republicans who are elected don’t actually want to do this. They think it’s, you know, [a] violation of the institutional norm. But you have a strong crowd, minority voices inside of the Republican Party, they are powerful. Their voices are loud, and their passion runs deep.
Here’s my suggestion: You should be very careful if you have a representative, a member of Congress, who would prefer to fight, utilize all of their political capital, in order to get an impeachment done on a person who has not done anything to rise to a level of impeachment. Damn sure won’t get convicted in the Senate.
You should be careful, because anytime somebody says yes, I subscribe to this, understand how things work in D.C. That means that they are spending mental energy, staff resources and political capital to get an impeachment done that goes nowhere, that people inside of their own party have to be convinced of over and over again. That also means that the things that you voted for them to do will not get done. The policy issues that they should stand for and champion will not be stood for. That is the political reality of these games.

Biden impeachment inquiry has no evidence
Mar 1
By Straight Arrow News
Republicans in the House have been seeking to impeach President Biden since the day after he took office on Jan. 20, 2021. Three years later and after multiple inquiries, many Republicans appear to have lost interest in further pursuing impeachment. However, roughly 70% of GOP voters themselves do support continued investigations of President Biden, as of December 2023.
Straight Arrow News contributor Dr. Rashad Richey says that these investigations have turned up no evidence, they distract and take resources away from the actual work of governance and they are driven only by the demands of the GOP’s far-right voter base.
