Just outside the nation’s capital in Virginia, a groundbreaking project is taking shape. Called Aerie, it’s a $300 million, members-only doomsday bunker that blends luxury with survival.

At first glance, Aerie resembles a high-end resort. However, beneath its surface lies one of the most advanced survival structures ever created. Designed to withstand everything from natural disasters to nuclear threats, this bunker offers unparalleled security.

And it’s not stopping in Virginia. The company behind Aerie, SAFE, plans to expand and offer residential bunkers in all 50 U.S. states.

Why the need for elite bunkers?

The idea of doomsday bunkers is gaining popularity among high-profile figures. SAFE’s founder and president, Al Corbi, said it’s simple. Many of the company’s clients already build multimillion-dollar fortified homes but lack the same level of safety and security while traveling.

According to CNN, Bill Gates has bunkers in many of his homes. NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has also reportedly invested in a doomsday bunker or safe room.

What Aerie offers

Aerie isn’t just about survival. It’s about doing so in style. This membership-based club offers underground residences ranging from 2,000 to 20,000 square feet. Each multi-level bunker can include up to 200 rooms and costs as much as $20 million.

Access to these spaces isn’t easy. SAFE said each residence requires multi-layered biometric authentication for entry to ensure maximum security.

Aerie’s design prioritizes health and wellness in crises. AI-powered medical suites are available in case of emergencies where external care isn’t accessible.

The suites include a hyperbaric chamber for concentrated oxygen, which the company said are particularly useful during low air quality events. There’s also an ice plunge room designed to improve circulation and mental health, along with an IV therapy room to provide essential nutrients.

Aerie’s spaces are fully customizable, allowing members to create a personalized haven for what the company calls “the unthinkable.”

A Peek Inside Aerie’s $300M Doomsday Bunker Equipped with AI Medical Staff

Just outside the nation’s capital on the Virginia side, a new project is taking shape. It’s called Aerie, and it’s a 300 million dollar members-only doomsday bunker that blends luxury with survival.

At first glance, Aerie may look like a high-end resort, but beneath the surface lies one of the most advanced survival structures. The Aerie project is designed to withstand everything from natural disasters to nuclear threats, and Virginia won’t be its only home. The company behind Aerie – SAFE – plans to offer residential bunkers in 50 U.S. states.

You may be wondering, why the need for such an extreme measure? SAFE’s founder and president Al Corbi explains it simply – many of their clients build multimillion-dollar fortified homes but lack that same level of safety and security while traveling.

And the idea of elite bunkers is gaining popularity. Multiple high-profile figures have made headlines for their investments in doomsday shelters.

“Man you see Mark Zuckerberg building this 270 million dollar bunker?”

And Zuckerberg isn’t alone. According to CNN, Bill Gates has bunkers in many of his homes.

Shaquille O’Neal has reportedly invested in a doomsday bunker or safe room as well.

As for Aerie, their membership-based club offers more than just safety. Each space can range anywhere from 2,000 to 20,000 square feet spanning multi-level underground residences that can cost up to 20 million dollars each. Their apartments can include up to 200 rooms with each residence including multi-layered biometric authentication for entry.

But it’s not just about space and security. Aerie’s design also prioritizes health and wellness in crisis situations. If a medical emergency occurs and external care isn’t available, residents can rely on AI-powered medical suites. Features include a hyperbaric chamber for concentrated oxygen in times of low air quality, an ice plunge room to improve circulation and mental health, and an IV therapy room to provide crucial nutrients.

And if that isn’t enough, Aerie says their members can fully customize their bunker, giving them a chance to prepare for what they call – the unthinkable.
