Bezos hires investment firm to consider possible Commanders bid

There is buzz around Jeff Bezos, and it involves the potential to buy an NFL football team. The Amazon founder has reportedly hired an investment firm to evaluate a possible bid for the Washington Commanders football team, according to Bezos’ own newspaper, The Washington Post.

Bezos hired Allen & Company, the same company that conducted the sale of the Denver Broncos last year and the Carolina Panthers in 2018.

Sources told ESPN that Bezos has not submitted a bid for the team, but they say it is still early in the process and that Bezos is showing an interest in becoming the owner of an NFL team.

With Jeff Bezos being the third richest person in the world, with a net worth of $119 billion, he could easily purchase the club that Forbes recently valued at $5.6 billion.
