THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE SAYS THE THEN-MEMBERS OF THE UNITED NATION OF ISLAM LEFT DOZENS OF CHILD WORKERS IN OVERCROWDED FACILITIES FILLED WITH MOLD AND RATS.
THE CHILDREN WERE ALSO UNDER STRICT DRESS CODES AND THE CULT CONTROLLED WHAT THEY ATE.
PROSECUTORS NOTE ONE VICTIM WAS SO THIRSTY SHE DRANK FROM A TOILET.
THE DEFENDANTS WERE FORMER HIGH-RANKING MEMBERS OF THE CULT OR WIVES OF THE FOUNDER, ROYALL JENKINS, WHO DIED IN 2021.
