The leak of a U.S. Supreme Court draft opinion on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization drew swift reactions from Democrats and Republicans. The draft obtained by Politico signaled the court could be poised to overturn the landmark case on abortion rights.

According to documents obtained by Politico, Associate Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito wrote, “It is time to heed the constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”

As the Court investigates the source of the leak, many are weighing how the pending decision will impact abortion rights at the state level and the upcoming midterm elections.

Straight Arrow News spoke with experts on both sides of the abortion rights issue, including conservative podcaster Eleanor Krasne and liberal radio host Rashad Richey.
