Newly released WhatsApp messages between Hunter Biden and an associate of a Chinese energy company reveal the president’s son urged the associate to sign a $10 million deal because the Bidens were the best at doing exactly what the company’s chairman wanted. The House Oversight Committee, which is investigating accusations of corruption in the Biden family, released the message from Aug. 3, 2017.

The communication was sent from Hunter Biden to CEFC China Energy associate Gongwen Dong, who is referred to as Kevin. It was organized into four points.

In point one, Biden wrote, “10 M per annum budget to use to further the interest of the JV. This move to 5M is completely new to me and is not acceptable obviously.”

The president’s son went on to say, “I am tired of this Kevin. I can make $5M in salary at any law firm in America. If you think this is about money it’s not. The Biden’s are the best I know at doing exactly what the Chairman wants from this partnership.”

The Oversight Committee also published a document that appears to show that one of Hunter Biden’s shell companies received $100,000 from CEFC the next day.

According to the committee, the “chairman” Biden was referring to is Chinese billionaire Ye Jianming who has ties to the Chinese Communist Party’s intelligence gathering agency.

“As more facts come to light, it becomes even more evident that the Bidens put China and their interests first and America last,” the committee tweeted.

President Biden has repeatedly denied ever speaking with his son about his business dealings. After Hunter Biden entered into a plea agreement with federal prosecutors, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre declined to speak about the first family’s private business.

“As it relates to anything related to — to Hunter, I’m just not going to respond to it from here,” Jean-Pierre said at a briefing on June 23.

But the committee also released transcripts of an FBI interview with Biden business associate Rob Walker that refutes that. According to the committee’s release, Walker told the FBI during a Dec. 8, 2020, interview that President Biden showed up to meetings with the CEFC after he left office as vice president. Walker also said yes when asked if Joe Biden showed up to meetings or heard Hunter arrange meetings for him when he was in office.

Newly released Whatsapp messages between Hunter Biden and an associate of a Chinese Energy Company reveal Hunter urged them to sign a ten million dollar deal because the Bidens were the best at doing exactly what the company’s Chairman wants.

The House Oversight Committee, which is investigating accusations of corruption in the Biden family, released the messages from August 3, 2017. Hunter Biden told an associate of CEFC China Energy: 10 million per annum budget to use to further the interest of the JV, or joint venture. President Biden has denied on many occasions ever speaking with his son about his business dealings. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre said after the younger Biden agreed to a plea agreement that she’s not going to address it either.

Karinne Jean Pierre: As it relates to anything related to — to Hunter, I’m just not going to respond to it from here.

The Committee released transcripts of an interview with Biden business associate Rob Walker in which he described other messages that hunter sent saying his dad was in the room and used his father as leverage to get a deal done. This investigation is ongoing. Straight from DC, I’m Ray Bogan.
