Protestors have been demonstrating in front of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home for about two months. They meet every Wednesday to protest the Dobbs ruling overturning Roe v. Wade.

Now, the conservative justice’s neighbors, most of whom reportedly identify as pro-choice, are fed up with the protesters’ often vulgar antics.

Emily Tucker Strulson is one of Kavanaugh’s neighbors. She told the Washington Post she’s been pro-choice all her life, and even participated in one of the first marches in front of Kavanaugh’s home.

The protesters, however were too raucous for her liking and began making personal insults towards neighbors, so Strulson went home.

In the months since that first protest, Strulson said the protesters have become increasingly more aggressive. She now thinks the message, with which she agrees, is getting lost because of the protesters’ own actions.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies and U.S. Marshals are a constant presence during the protests. Most of the infractions are for noise complaints, but authorities did stop an armed man in June who drove to Maryland from California and threatened to kill Kavanaugh.

Sadie Kuhns, a spokesperson for the protesters, said the minor inconvenience to the neighbors because of the protest pales in comparison to the impact the overturning of Roe v. Wade could have on millions of people across the country.
