
At least 3 dead in shooting at Madison private school

Police in Madison, Wisconsin, said at least three people are dead, and six others are injured after a shooting on Monday, Dec. 16, at Abundant Life Christian School. Madison authorities noted that among the dead is a juvenile who is believed to be the killer.

Untracked Bias
Officials haven’t released the identities of the suspect and others killed or injured. However, the Madison Police Department said the suspect was a student at the school.
Law Enforcement reported that gunfire erupted just before 11 a.m. local time at the school.
Madison police said responding officers didn’t fire their weapons and were actively investigating the scene.
Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers commented on the attack in a statement.
“We are praying for the kids, educators, and entire Abundant Life school community as we await more information and are grateful for the first responders who are working quickly to respond,” Evers said.
President Joe Biden has reportedly been briefed on the situation in Madison.
Abundant Life Christian School reportedly has around 390 students and instructs students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

LAW ENFORCEMENT NOTES, ONE AMONG THE DEAD IS A JUVENILE WHO IS BELIEVED TO BE THE KILLER.

GUNFIRE ERUPTED JUST BEFORE 11 A-M LOCAL TIME.
THE MADISON POLICE DEPARTMENT SAYS NO OFFICERS FIRED THEIR WEAPONS AND THEY’RE STILL INVESTIGATING THE SCENE.
A REUNIFICATION CENTER WAS SETUP FOR PARENTS TO MEET UP WITH THEIR CHILDREN AT A NEARBY HEALTH CLINIC.
PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN AND THE GOVERNOR OF WISCONSIN HAVE REPORTEDLY BEEN BRIEFED ON THE SITUATION.
