Ukraine asks NATO for weapons to ‘serve the purpose of peace’

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister told NATO members the more weapons Ukraine receives and the sooner they arrive, the more lives will be saved.
His message comes as bodies of civilians killed by Russian troops are being identified in the suburbs of Kyiv.
In Washington – Attorney General Merrick Garland says the Department of Justice will help identify war criminals and hold them accountable.

The White House announced more sanctions, including a complete block on Russia’s largest financial institutions and a ban on new American investment in Russia.
