U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents continue to seize record amounts of fentanyl, methamphetamine, weapons and ammunition at the Mariposa Port of Entry in Nogales, Arizona.

Trends continued in May of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents bringing drugs into the United States and smuggling weapons into Mexico.

In May, Customs and Border Protection agents agents seized more than three million fentanyl pills in one load. That amount of fentanyl is enough to kill at least 2.36 million people alone, according to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency’s metrics.
