Boebert, Colorado Republicans push recall effort against state official after Supreme Court’s Trump ruling

Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., and several other Colorado Republican lawmakers threatened Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold, D, with a recall effort. This follows the state Supreme Court shutting down her endeavor to stop former President Donald Trump from being listed on primary ballot.

The state’s Supreme Court ruled 9-0 that Trump must remain on the 2024 ballot.

Boebert and the other Republican lawmakers wrote a letter accusing the election official of disenfranchising voters by attempting to keep Trump off of the ballot.
