Former President Trump’s ex-attorney, Joe Tacopina, strongly pushed back against claims that Trump’s New York hush money case was a result of the “weaponization” of the justice system during an interview on Sunday, June 2. Tacopina dismissed claims by Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C. that President Joe Biden was involved in the criminal hush money case against Donald Trump. Tacopina criticized Scott for appearing uninformed and stated that Biden and his Justice Department had no connection to the case. He called Scott’s claims “ridiculous.”
